Pinaiigting ng Commission on Elections (COMELEC) ang mga paghahanda para sa September 14, 2026 BARMM Parliamentary Elections sa pamamagitan ng serye ng mga aktibidad na nakatuon sa kahandaan ng mga election stakeholders at mga botante.
Kabilang dito ang mga Stakeholders’ Briefings, Joint Command Conferences, Voter Education and Information Sessions, Media Orientations, Command Center at Data Center Walkthroughs, gayundin ang mga simulation exercises para sa proseso ng pagboto at pagbibilang ng mga balota.
Katuwang ng COMELEC sa paghahanda ang Department of Education (DepEd), Ministry of Basic, Higher and Tertiary Education (MBHTE), Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Philippine National Police (PNP), Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation and Unity (OPAPRU), Presidential Task Force on Media Security (PTFOMS), mga City at Municipal Treasurers, at iba pang partner institutions.
Kasama rin sa mga isinagawang hakbang ang pag-imprenta ng halos tatlong milyong opisyal na balota, pagpapatupad ng Election Period, Gun Ban at COMELEC Checkpoints, pati ang sertipikasyon ng Automated Election System at testing ng bawat Automated Counting Machine at Transmission Device.
Layunin ng mga hakbang na matiyak ang maayos, ligtas at organisadong pagsasagawa ng halalan, gayundin ang malawak at makabuluhang partisipasyon ng mga botante sa kauna-unahang BARMM Parliamentary Elections.
